“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.” ~ John Ruskin

Ah, those rainy day blues, right?  It is so easy to let the whims of the day impact the direction we head during it.  However, like anything else, like life; everything is simply a matter of perception.

“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.” ~ John Ruskin

Just as the weather is neither good, nor bad; my CHALLENGE to us today is to view our students in the exact same way:  Our students who excel in the classroom are great, because they provide proof that success is attainable; plus they often succeed without overly-cautious watch on our part.  Likewise, our probation students are wonderful, because they provide an opportunity for us to truly grow as ADVISORS, and give us the chance to enjoy the great feeling we can only get from serving others.

And the rare student who hangs up on us?  Well… let’s just assume they had a bad phone connection because of the rain ;)

THAT one you can blame on the weather…
